On my arrival in Shanghai I wrote a letter to

K2

give my compliments, but Mr. WAN dispatched it in telegraphic

code, which is to be much regretted. The British Ambassador

has confidence in me. If you have something to enquire of

me, or anything you require me to do for you, I shall do

with pleasure. This is not only friendship but it is a

duty which I should fulfil for the country.

In order to work conveniently in Shanghai I have

唐納

abandoned my name TONG NAP. The two managers of TA (MEI ?)

大陸

WAN (PAO?) and TA LUK (Continental ?) only know my school

names.

Your S

KI LEUNG.
